The books scattered around our home can reveal a bit about our us; our likes and dislikes, jobs, interests, fears or desires, various phases we have gone through in our lives. What stories do your books tell?
Rules:
* Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
* Turn to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post that sentence (plus one or two others if you like) along with these instructions on your blog or (if you do not have your own blog) in the comments section of Storytime With Tonya.
*Post a link along with your post back to Storytime With Tonya.
* Don’t dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST.
I’m not going to go into detail about how this book found it’s way into my home. It just did and I actually find it quite interesting. While it’s not the only book I’m reading right now, it happened to be the closest one to me at the moment.

Energy Essentials for Witches and Spellcasters, by Mya Om
“Sensing the energy of others is doubly important because you don’t want to connect with or work with people whose energy is negative or whose goals don’t conform to your own. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t help people who are surrounded by negative energy, but you must be very cautious when doing so. Negativity is contagious; it is like a black hole that can suck you in if you aren’t careful.“ |
The above passage is very true, don’t you think? Negative energy begets negative outcomes. As my Grandmother always said, “The power of your ‘words’ can make a difference.” :)
